        COLSON CENTER

        Traditional office meets Flexible Solutions

This project began like so many Class A office spaces, with one large room full of cubicles. They needed a refresh to make better use of their space, while having an upgraded break room, "hot" desk areas for mobile workers, private and semi-private spaces for local employees and a way to reformat their space for the ever changing Covid requirements. Our answer was a break room/dining area that took advantage of the large windows and natural light; a mix of updated cubicles around the perimeter walls and open benching for team engagement and modular meeting spaces created by rolling TV/white board/biophilia racks that acted as "walls" when they needed to block sound and visuals. All of these elements were punched to the next level with imprinting with branding collateral.

        NORTHWESTERN MUTUAL COS NORTH

        Low Cost - Big Impact

This office expansion was like many who need to keep an eye on the budget while getting the most out of a renovation. We started with a large cubicle area that needed to be re-used, but was the first thing you saw when you walked in. We created a back stop for branding and a landing place for the reception area. We made existing cubicles work with their branding pallete in order to save money on furniture. We also created rolling planters/bookcases to create changeable meeting spaces using existing lounge furniture. Glass walls, overlooking the main cubicle area, created space for the advisors to connect with the other team members and allowed the transfer natural light throughout the space. Designing a way to repurpose existing furniture allowed this firm to kick off a new site and save!
